Rinse and Repeat scenario assumes that after they sell bought-back shares at higher prices, the price will drop, so they can re-buy-back. What happens if price just keeps going up. What you suggest is a way of making money, though, as MMs and their supercomputers with supersoftware does it that way. It might be worth noting that it's done by supercomputers/supersoftware, not humans and guess what BBDA very likely does not have - a market maker license, the computers, or the software?
