My understanding is that APDN was working with SMTC during the 18 month pilot program. They (APDN), provided SMTC with DNA ink to mark components during counterfeit testing program.

I think the real success (and share price) comes when we see a major chip/electronic player sign a licensing deal with APDN. That seems like the next logical step.
