The bad guys always have bad plans. We as a nation had no reason to think that somebody ignorant enough to fly a perfectly good airplane into buildings full of innocent people would take place. I think those types of events are likely once or twice in a century. Sneak attacks the sniffer would have done no good on 911 or Pearl Harbor. The sniffer will make it safe to fly the skies again. What terrorists want is for us in the land of the brave and free to be scared that tehy have the ability to perpetuate another attack. I do not think they do and I will never cower to someone that wipes their ass with their left hand in the sand. Long live America the greatest nation ever. We might have some problems but we are so far in front of whoever is in second place that there is no second place ranking.
