Please forgive a novice...

I am just questionning for clarification.

You are saying that with the rights to "repackage" a song makes that song an asset?

How? You still do not own that song, only the rights to distribute it with a new photo on the album? Are you allowed to remix it with new beats and resell it that way? Would this give you sole rights and ownership to the original and/or modified version?

Let's say you now own the modified version. I doubt you will ever own the original unless you pay a lot for it and even then, the creator probably still owns its rights to it.

So you would have "Recreated" new versions of each song you have the licensing for. You would definitely try to generate revenues of these songs as you paid a lot in fees to be allowed to proceed, wouldn't you?

Has Foxy Liar Roxy or her late husband done so?

The music they advertised on their site were the original version, nothing else. And it wasnt even possible to buy!

We are going to rock with those 40+ million dollar assets that are now going to work for MPIX and shareholders alike. Denny Diante knows how to make this orchestrate imo.

Who questioned their ability to make a cd using songs they have a license to reproduce and sell it? Sure they have the right to do that, just like the dozens of other companies that have non-exclusive rights to the same songs. The question is how much value to assign to that right and how they are calculating it.

Once again, they have had these rights for over 10 years and how many CDs under their "private label" can I currently buy anywhere? Look at the financial statements for MPIX. ZERO revenues for 2011! ZERO revenues for the first half of 2012! They haven't done jack squat to demonstrate they can generate revenue by exercising their non-exclusive rights to reproduce and distribute the music in their so-called library.

Since you know so much, please educate me as to how they are calculating the value of their non-exclusive licenses at $40 million when they have not generated a dime of revenue in the last year.
