The cancellation of debt when a new management team takes over is not all that rare. If the new team questions the legitimacy of a debt, they have every right to request proof.

I have seen this happen in public and private companies. It was a smart move on SIRG's part.

People that have a problem with this do not understand that companies are rife for being ripped-off and not every bill or debt is legit.
