You were pretty impatient even in the beginning. So I understand your lining up the negatives because you went in so heavily on the speculation that all was to happen much more quickly. Yes, even Huff had that 'fire' that drove him to put out the releases for test dates prematurely. But, having to admit that was the case, all work still goes on, at all levels within this company.
Think others here have nailed it when they say it is likely that the Strat may fly outside of the USA first. And if it does, successfully, they will be clamoring, both telecommunications wise, and, militarily wise to get it back here in the USA asap. Necessity will prompt the FAA if need be at that point as regards regs and Access 5 if GTE succeeds first with a first rate HAA.
It all remains to be seen and could be a huge story down the road. I am following that road to the end, watching every twist and turn like so many others here have for a long time...I have tempered my excitement with quiet enthusiasm, anticipating they will do the best they can with the Stratellite as regards the many improvements, modifications, and simulation testing we are not privy to at this point.
