Let me clarify . . . the dividend shares were issued by the company subject to the Rule 144 restriction. There is a process for removing the restriction, which then would allow the individual shareholder to trade the shares. It requires a legal opinion as well as the original stock certificate issued. Anyone can access this information who was issued dividend shares.
