bert -- you said the timing had you puzzled. you wondered why mason didn't let the stock run for a while before the filings came out.
if he had, and let's say the pps hit .05, then news of flow rates on I-1 took it to .10, etc. -- would it have been fair to those who bought into the run at much higher prices for mason to announce the proposed r/s and a/s increase later? i think he did the best he could, since there's never going to be a better time.
at this point everyone knows what they are planning, and it didn't stop 45M shares from being absorbed, either. that, in and of itself, speaks volumes.
