Aetna one of the largest US Health insurance providers recently announce the purchase of Coventry Health a Insurance Company located in Washington D.C.
Walgreens who Contracted (2012) with this prescription payor was Excited about this preferred relationship.
"As the Nations largest drug store chain, Walgreens is excited about joining with Coventry healthcare as a preferred provider
for pharmacy services." That makes Coventry healthcare members
across the Country an attractive addition ******* , said Kermit Crawford president of Health & Wellness services.

As most market makers Know, CVS/CAREmark is the only Company who Administers Aetnas PBM programs, and CVS/Caremark is Walgreens competitor for Rx services, we also know CVS/Caremark is not the Sushi leader in this industry, so hats off to Walgreens executives for this strategic move.
