15 face to face meetings vs 15 BP's?

I have been pondering about SK's formulation as shown in bioparm's #3. Someone posted the past days that 15 face-to-face meetings is not the same as 15 meetings with 15 different BP's.

1) Wouldn't people plan meeting by meeting when in a phase of preparing further talks. The first thing are non-disclosures and I don't see neither Peregrine neither the BP's have parallel meetings with different teams als long as the negotiation framework and legal admin hasn't been done.

1A) If you answer, yes they would, then these talks are further evolved as we think because lot's of resources are commited to a some same BP's.

1B) If you answer, no they wouldn't, then 15 meeting without more then one meeting planned ahead can only be done we 15 different BP's.

2) From the linguistic point of view one would, when referencing meetings in such context as did SK, think about the first meeting with each of the potential partners. But since that is a kind of subjective assessment let's assume they have planned 3 meetings ahead with each of the potential BP's. Still then we have 5 parties at the table that are prepared to plan 3 meetings ahead and didn't just come for a greet & meet.

3) Let's even make it more worse case (I like worse case, mostly avoids ugly surprises). Suppose SK was only talking about 3 potential partners, which by the way is more then sufficient to have competition, then by know they ALL know. In his last statement SK mentioned add in relation to these talks, I do this by memory and I hope I didn't dream i, that they do their day jobs at night!

3A) If they do their day jobs at night then these meetings must be real agenda fillers, multiple on one day with a same party because someone must 'fly in'. But then SK would have referred to the details of a scheduled day and I don't see 15 meetings as a big obstacle to do your day job! For preparations and follow-up I am sure SK, PL, etc have their teams.

3B) If there would really be multiple meetings (say 5 with 3 parties) planned ahead then the meetings would be spread in time and one would have time to do it's day job during the day!

3C) Between the moment SK announced the 15 meetings and the statement about the day jobs all BP's that respect themselves must have heard of Peregrine and Bavi (if they didn't already since long as I know some do). Then if there where not 15 different parties at first there sure must be more today.

As a conclusion I think we are REALLY in talks with many parties and I never saw PR's of CC and presentations where a CEO said they need to do their day jobs at night because of partnering talks. But then again what do I know!
