perhaps. Just remember that there is an enormous research cost involved, but even with the commercial applications, our government is extremely anxious to stop counterfeiting. Whether it is persons taking counterfeit licenses to get gov welfare, or to get pilot's licenses to do terrorists acts, or just killing our economy by counterfeit goods, or destroying our military defenses (remember the downed drone captured in Iran and now supposedly cloned by them, had no self-destruct software? ???counterfeit part destinied to fail????), or counterfeit drugs being paid for by Medicare/Medicaid, perhaps killing the patient from not being the correct drug/dose needed. I think there is much, much, much research money being given now, not just for specific items such as defense electronics.
