One of the main reasons the Cap Ex in the recent study was so high was because of the need to double the tonnage per day, as I understood things in order to get to the sweet-spot in the cost/benefit trade-offs for the initial extractive step. That step leads to the carbonate which is the starting point for subsequent processing to either EMM/EMD/CMD/LMD
A smaller extractive operation would be less cost effective, and without doubt when reduced enough it would be prohibitively costly.
But if your DD tells you otherwise you certainly can believe that.
