Chapter 3: Playing Music
HOW DO I N NAVIGATE AND PLAY MUSIC FILES?
Your MXP 100 has a simple file system that allows you to navigate
and play the music you’re looking for quickly. Or, you can begin
playing music immediately, without having to browse files at all. You
can also navigate files while you’re playing music.
Playing Tracks
Press to begin playing the selected track. Depending on the
selected Play Mode, the MXP 100 will play or repeat the selected
track, folder, or all music on your player. You can also browse and
play tracks using VoiceNav.
Understanding the Music File System
With the MXP 100, you can store your music quickly, then find it
easily. The e.Digital Music Explorer software included with your

WHAT IS A FOLDER? A folder is a group of music tracks. For example, a folder might be a
single music album, containing all the tracks on that album. Or you
could create a folder for an artist, containing tracks from that artist.
Folders are set up using Music Explorer on your PC.
