#183369 RE: StephanieVanbryce #183368

Well, after reading this headline, I bet many ain't voting for Mitt

"In a rather alarming headline broken by Poker Players Alliance (PPA)
Vice President of Player Relations Rich TheEngineer Muny on Tuesday
afternoon, a GOP platform entitled "Renewing American Values" calls for
the prohibition of internet gambling. The platform was finalized on Tuesday
night with the anti-internet gambling language included."

It's trivial to most but I loved to play poker on the internet, from the
safety and comfort of my own home. Saved money also from not
having the extra costs of driving 2 hours to the nearest casino.
But hey, if I want to spend unlimited cash at the local grocery store
on lottery tickets and scratch offs, that's perfectly fine.
I just wish the govt. would let me make my own decisions when it comes
to how I want to spend my time and money. Money that I paid taxes on.

Mitt just cost himself a ton of votes imo with this talk of banning online
gambling. Most of the Vegas casinos are already set up for online poker,
just waiting for the govt. to legalize and regulate it. You start threatening to
erase future millions of dollars in revenue from the heavy hitters and you
might end up losing the election.

Hopefully.
