#47751 RE: TheEternalChampion #47748

Do YOU know that as fact? I didn't mention Kims knowledge of patent law. I could ASSUME he should know some patent law since he dealt with intellectual property rights, but cannot say for sure what his depth of knowlede in patent law is, if any. You could ask him yourself and should before you post that he has none.

How about this. There is no information that says Kim is an expert in patent law

Primarily I focused on the part where the post says he has ZERO business experience, even though he founded his own lawfirm, even though he started KBLB and even though he worked out license agreements with 2 Universities(Univ. NotreDame & Wyoming) and 1 large company(SigmaAldrich).
It would seem to me that he at minimum has the business experience of founding and operating two businesses.

I am not disputing that. I am disputing what business experience is derived from that autobiography you posted.

Apparently starting your own succesful law firm doesnt count as business experience. Or starting up a company and collaborating with 2 major Universites doesnt count as business experience.

It counts as something, sure. Does it mean he is good at running a business? Well it seems he can run a law firm with his wife and friend at minimum.

I guess taking a fledgeling research biotech stock public and handling its day to day affairs for the past 6 years such as,
...none of that apparently counts as business experience?

It is what it its...... but doing all of those things is his experience base.

KBLB is seeking to commercialize and mass produce silk, and develop partnerships/licensing with 3rd parties. does he have ANY experience relative to that?

What??!

Even though he had a commercial lawfirm and won cases representing small and large cap companies as it relates to intellectual properties and distribution rights (but he doesnt have character quality?) Zenaku posted an article about Kim winning in court just the end of last year on behalf of a couple against their local police abusing power. He must have some kind of court room presence to win his cases. Not to mention its reported that his winnings are quite sizeable, that's not just a win, but a 360 Slam DUNK.

An autobiography on the KBLB web page and a PR from one court case is hardly DD.

(but he doesnt have character quality?)

Everyone has qualities that make them who they are. So everyone has "character quality". But does Kim have the character qualities necessary to make up for his lack of experience?

Ever consider that part of his "know how" is that 'specific facet'. Is it missed that that specific facet directly applies to exactly what KBLB needs? Research into IP law and Distribution rights gives you precedence on what has been done, what can be done and the limits and boundaries that large companies hope a small company at the negotiating table doesnt know.

Everyone has a specialty. To some extent they are translatable. Like I said, as long as Kim is smart enough to seek experts in the fields that he is not.

It's one thing to honestly warn people of the reality of the risk of investment, especially when something seems to good to be true. It's another thing to ignore facts, and support mis-information while doing so.

I am not ignoring facts and supporting misinformation. I am stating facts and questioning statements based on an autobiography used as DD.

If Kim knocks it out of the park with a huge deal, I will give him credit on his performance. What that means is that he learned and applied himself to make up for lacking direct prior experience. For example, I was hired to fill a medium level position. I had nothing on paper that showed I could perform that job. All I had was my resume, they saw what skills I had that are translatable and the skills I lacked, they knew they could teach me in a reasonable length of time. This is all I am implying. Someone smart, open and hardworking can thrive almost everywhere.

Will he? we'll see.
