Boy, Peter sure is not at all near what he expected ERHE to be at.
It's like he was in dreamland, or we're no where near what he 'planned'.

I forgot one thing about the conference call that I don't think anyone has said anything about. Someone specifically asked whether anyone had ever made a buyout offer for ERHC. The question was actually answered and it was NO, they have never been approached with an offer. I find it almost amzaing after the YEARS of talk about buyouts here, the whiteboard and all the dots and all the talk about what must be going on behind the scenes and talk about all of these offers that must have been turned down that the reality is, THERE NEVER WERE ANY OFFERS.

I guess that answer was a little bit of a reality check for some people. I think the reality is that in contrast to what many often believe, there is usually nothing going on behind the scenes. Sometimes things are EXACTLY as they appear.

Thanks for posting, but you are wrong.

You so desperately want to climb into a time machine, but none of us can go back. We are in the here and now with the circumstances we have today. You so distrust this management and dislike the timelines presented, it is a wonder that you spend so much of your time here complaining!

Here are a number of things Peter has accomplished counter to your post:

Peter Ntephe: We are expecting that drilling will start later this year or at some point next year.

FACT: Drilling started in 2009 as Peter said it would.

...we also believe that we must balance our portfolio.

FACT: ERHE has acquired additional assets in Chad and Kenya to balance the company's portfolio.

we can buy into a company that is already listed – either purchase 100 percent or buy a controlling interest. Each option has its advantages and disadvantages, so we are considering both options and expect to settle on one very shortly.

FACT: While ERHE did not get this deal completed, it attempted to take a controlling interest of ERI.

Our current focus is to grow the company...

FACT: ERHE has added onshore assets in Chad and Kenya.

In the next two to three years, we see exploratory drilling in the JDZ in the Gulf of Guinea.

FACT: ERHE completed this in 2009 and 2010.

We also see ERHC as a much bigger company with a diversified asset portfolio.

FACT: ERHE has completed this.

Q: What else do you see happening in the next two to three years?

PN: In the next two to three years, we see exploratory drilling in the JDZ in the Gulf of Guinea, possibly some major discoveries. We also see ERHC as a much bigger company with a diversified asset portfolio. It will have subsidiaries and producing assets. We will be enhancing shareholder value.
