not sure conversion to certificates is the best approach. If you wish to find a buyer yourself and sell your shares, yes, but if you want to automatically collect payments from settlements or a sale, you would have to file individually for the money since the brokerage firm would then have no record of your ownership. The question of how any payments would be treated (gain or income) is far from clear and would not be cause to convert at this time. IMHO
