Water up - sugar down.
I watched a program on the CBC last night about BIG SUGAR. Those cats are powerful, have political connections at the highest levels and are making us all fat as pigs. They have been influential since the days of the slave trade. The top scientists who try to get their message across at the UN, for example, that sugar is not good for anybody find their funding stops and they often lose their jobs on various boards and organizations.
Our kids love the stuff - in soft drinks, mostly which are in most schools and even children's hospitals. The great one Gretzky is a spokesman for Pepsi! Pepsi - now there's a company with our health uppermost in their minds! NOT!
Buyer beware - what you eat and drink (sugar + caffeine) may not be good for you. People are aware of this more and more. The drink machines are being removed from some schools. The process is slow and fraught with roadblocks. Coke and Pepsi are not complying, in fact, they fight tooth and nail.
Others, like Rush, will prosper in the wake of the major's utter disregard of our health!
Down with Pepsi - up with Rush.
Interesting sidelight - the main lobbyist for big sugar at the UN hearings on sugar was the godson of guess who - George Bush the first! King George to his closest friends.
