Hey Guys:

I'm long on GRPR and a couple of other "up & coming" development-stage oil & gas companies (that I know most of the posters here own because I read your posts on the other boards).

I've seen this theory (about putting your shares into a hold by placing a high sell order) suggested on this and other boards mant times. Can someone explain to me how this works? I'm not a professional trader, so I don't understand how MM's borrow our shares for shorting.

If it really is possible to limit the shorting by placing a high-point sell order on your shares, I'd like to understand this.
