It's all about power.
Years ago I was very active in our local NJ Repub party and my husband was a Repub township official, but I could never support today's GOP - extremists are in charge, moderates need not apply.
I don't agree with everything the Dems say/do, but at least they have a big tent.
And, yes, it was dumb for the PA official to go on record regarding the purpose of PA's voter ID law - guess they're feeling confident they can pull off a win for Romney. Time will tell.
