The poor crooks here were/are in a "short and distort" swindle, selling the stocks that they do not borrow and without any intent to borrow: a form of unaccounted, naked short selling. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Securities_fraud.
I believe though that their only intent in doing this was to help me to accumulate more cheap SGCP shares.
