ASYI - As a gentleman holding a Ph.D in Economics, I can assure you there are a few ways to turn this whole 'scha-bang' around, my friend.

Lowering - not raising - the A/S would be the first thing I'd do. Understand why?

Consider this: If one had the funds to takeover ASYI personally, do you honestly think they would then need to then start immediately diluting their investment - as in being so broke that the immediate need for cash requires a dilution of said investment?! Negative.

Rest assured that colleagues of mine have done quite well for themselves in these situations. Larger companies can, in fact, use those NOLS.

It's merely a matter of having someone at the helm willing to put the offer on the table in the correct way, and persevere through the harassing phone calls from nervous short sellers as well as angry investors who wants CEO's to hold their hands...

Oh, wait, Short-Selling stocks like ASYI doesn't happen - right? LOL. C'mon now... I think the boys over at Knight Capital (NITE) have a different version of shorting stocks...
