Correction that's 1,000 ounces not yards. \V/_

Oh really Phred6, 1.5 Grams per cubic yard to be profitable... now that is laughable.

Lets say PCFG continues to run at 1000 cubic yards of gravel for a 7 hour day.

Lets take 21 day and mulitply that by 7 which is 147 hours. Now lets divide 1000 cubic yards a day with by 7 hours. that give you 142.86 cubic yards an hour. Now times that by 147 hours that is 21,000.42 cubic yards of gravel run in a 21 day work month.

Now take 21,000 cubic yards and multiply that by the current rate of .1091 PCFG will have mine 2291.15 grams of gold divide that by 31.103 grams per a troy ounce of gold and you get 73 ounces of gold for one month at .1019.

Now if you take it s step further and do the math using .2, .3 and .4 you will get

21000.42 x .2 = 4200.084 / 31.103 = 135.04 ounces of gold for the same 21 day period

21000.42 x.3 = 6300.126 / 31.103 = 202.56 ounces of gold for the same 21 day period

21000.42 x.4 = 8400.168 / 31.103 = 270.08 ounces of gold for the same 21 day period

So based on these numbers you are telling me PCFG could not be profitable? There are going to be months where PCFG does turn out the above numbers and if PCFG can get those numbers they will start to turn a profit.

PCFG doesn't need to actually mine 6000 ounces of gold per year to be profitable. With the price of gold going up mining of any sort will eventually make them profitable. You also fail to do the math as that 1000 cubic yards was from a 7 hour work day. What is to say once all the bugs are worked out PCFG work day does go to 10 to 12 hour days. There are a lot of ways to do the math and PCFG to be profitable.

I am not a miner but I don't think even if PCFG did what you suggested they would get .3 additional grams per cubic yard from the tailings. Also if I am not mistaken doing the additional process will also cost them money and they would have to have an additional setup to do that process. More money spent and more money lost when doing both of these.

Myself if PCFG gets the numbers based on what I have posted and runs longer days they will turn a profit but most companies when they start out run negative after going into production for the first year or two IMO.

I am willing to wait and see what PCFG brings in the next 2 years.
