"Just" patents?
That's like "just" winning the Super Bowl,
or '"just" winning the World Series, or
"just" 16/whatever Gold Medals at the London Olympics.

I haven't seen anything from NEOM to imply they "invented" 2D barcodes. A barcode is like a bricked cellphone, unless you can connect it to something meaningful..aka patents as NEOM's patents do.

Which "many others" have such patents?
