If I was running the purchase order dept, and I saw a new product that sold out in a week, HMmmmmmm, I just might consider buying more, all the products on shelves and if one sales that quickly, it would suggest a good profit to run with, just to see how much potential sales exist! I was a distributer to retail for 25 years. Long term relationships built up trust. Most of my customers were with me for at least 15 years. Re -stocked on a weekly basis.
