I dont understand it enough to comment any further. Even if I did think I understood it, I would probably check with IR to confirm I am doing it properly because I wouldnt want to recklessly put numbers out there. And if I checked with IR, they might just go ahead and prompt themselves to comment on it in a blog to minimize the risk of some dumb shareholder like myself estimating wrong...
In fact...I did ask IR TODAY about what the current eCPM is as they have not provided it in the blogs since earlier this year and they said they will probably provide or report on that soon (from my understanding...if you have eCPM and # of impressions, you may be able to figure out earnings...).
Also, they commented that Apple continues to tweak iAD (which they told me 6-12 months ago as well), so I bet $$ per impression has varied in quite a volatile way becasue of Apple's changes.
The key thing for me is the earnings PR that said they are getting "nearly" 1 million impressions a month.
As far as I can prognosticate, the rate of Impression growth is accelerating towards decidely significant numbers...
