I use standard settings on all TA indicators except Aroon and BBands. I feel 10 day BB follow short swing trades better and like the 3 day Aroon to complement the normal mid term DMI indication, for catching a quick reversal.

Remember I normally play a swing in 2 weeks. So I look for indication changes a little quicker than 1 month Mid term indicators are used for.

All personal. But the shorter BB & aroon seem to tell me info I can act on more timely. Note: the BB & Aroon don't use PPs in their calculations. More of trending indication then PPs momentium play indicated by other indicators.
