Hi Jeff, welcome aboard. The maintenance guy I talked to had hands on experience with Evolucia roadway lights. I also learned from the man that the fixtures are pre setup to accept a number of different voltages, a big plus IMO. I can`t say I`ve talked to anyone else that is as connected to the Evo lighting as that gentleman was.
I did talk to maintenance guys at another facilty that uses the competition`s LED roadway lights. The fixtures are not cobra head shaped, but more rectangular flat panel type. I got to see one up close (that had been struck by lightning)on the work bench. Bottom line is they work, but do not feature the patented aimed optics Evolucia has for most efficient light spread. I think Evo talked about this type competitor fixture in a recent PR.
I think the Evolucia fixtures are the most bang for the buck, apparently the parking garage people in Hawaii agree. All IMHO.
