Why our need

Why do flowers grow
Why tornadoes
Why potatoes
Why oh why oh why oh why
Why do you believe you know
You know it doesn't help you grow.

The fruits of the whys were hypothesis, testing, research and reason;
sciences, democracy, politics, religion an' 'unnerstanding of season.

Why would any kill that imagination in children with a poison of mythical
superstition, clearly nonsensical to any inquiring rational and objective mind.
