On any given day, ~95% of S&P500 stocks that have analysts ratings, are rated hold or better. Probably similar for NASDAQ issues. Reality is analysts wear rose coloured glasses...in other words you are better off being your own analyst...IMO. I cannot fathom a buy rating on this right now, let alone a hold.
