You can sell and take a $3000 per year capital loss. Depending on where you live and your income you might get 30% - 40% of it back. And if you have capital gains, your loss in $PAPA can offset those gains.

I don't know what, if any, legal rights you have, but if I were in your shoes I would start here:

https://www.coloradoattorneygeneral.gov/departments/criminal_justice/securities_fraud_unit/securities_fraud_report_form

I will warn you that in my experience complaints, or threats of complaints, to governmental agencies are fairly effective with reasonably reputable companies; not so effective with companies who just don't care. But it's still worth a try...

I would also see the local DA if you are near Pueblo as, I believe, a lot of money changed hands during "Friend and Family" events..and as this covers many States i think the FBI may be a good port of call..

wateroven,

Based on a prior post of yours, I believe you may know a lot of the private placement investors. In my area, we have a TV station that does "9 On Your Side" pieces involving people or firms that swindle other folks. If you have access to something like this and they do a piece on you and others who were scammed by a company, it is a sure-fire way to get the attention of local authorities, even the feds if appropriate.
