#78730 RE: Warmy #78728

You are wrong on multiple counts. Jenkins is not, and never was, registered to practice engineering in Arizona. His supposed engineering registration is a membership number in the SME (that still cracks me up!). SME is an organization, and does not register engineers.

It does not matter if a person puts "registered" or not in front of "engineer". He is implying that he is qualified to practice engineering in Arizona, and he is not. The AZBOTR will have little difficulty investigating these two complaints - the documents they signed are available on-line, and at least Jenkins lives in Arizona. Stoddard - who knows, if out of State, might be harder to prosecute.

As for expiration, if either one was actually registered as an engineer at the time they signed the report, the report would be valid. But, neither was a registered engineer. And even if they were registered, you could still file a complaint for crappy work, which it is. Basing the value of in-ground resources on old data (in some cases over 100 years old!) without a single drill hole is comical.

well, finally a post that is relevant as to the situation as of 2012. Wether complaints were or weren't filed today or months ago against jenkins has no bearing as to what is going on at this time. The state of arizona has files of jenkins sighing off on mining reports for years. tHE STATE HAS BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN CHASE DOWN SOMEONE WHO AT THE TIME OF SIGNING WAS A CERTIFIED GEOLOGIST AND ENGINEER.
