Yes, get the footings in the ground! the footings will need cure time or 30 days+. I wonder if they have plans submitted to building dept. yet for permits to erect the clearspan.

Lets hope that type work was being completed while waiting on the conditional permit.

imo - Sounded like one of the conditions Wally wanted was specs. a building permit and copy of plans submitted for the permit would have the specs, loads, foundation/footing size and spec, and design in comformance with local building code. thus, condition - met.

PS. I'm wondering if there is need for building permits for constructing anything less than 5' in height. but then you'd be taking a chance by designing and placing footings/foundation prior to permitting.
