Not sure where you are going with this one, Steph. The Utah war was sort of a low-grade French and Indian War, where the mormons got the indians to help them kill americans, then tried to pin it on the Paiutes.
So as a religion, they committed acts of war against a bunch of Americans from Arkansas... But mitt was only a gleam in old Gaskell's eye and one of his three wives, so not sure what mitten's connection is other than by birth?
