I got the same story when I called Scottrade over a week ago. I still don't have my shares.

Tell him him to STOP lying to you. TDA did credit the account, but did not give you the ability to trade the shares until they actually had them. And the whole process took only 2 weeks.

The problem is with scottrade and they aren't going to admit it.

I'm glad I don't use them. What a scam outfit Scottrade is. I have accts with TDA and E-Trade.
I almost picked scottrade over e-trade....Glad I didn't
