has anyone ever seen a stock dip before a run?

i have.

why does anyone sell?

in the case of debt holders, they may sell shares so they can convert more. it gives them cash, plus a larger position to hold long.

retail sees volume sellers like this and some freak out. others who bought at .004 might take profits. that's what makes a shake -- churn out the buyers who grabbed the lowest hanging fruit.

do MMs have control over price action?

i believe they do, but it's usually overstated as "MMM". we are all "MMs" when we buy and sell, so that must be kept in mind.

has this stock dipped before and then bounced?

yes, it has. and dramatically.

so... it looks like it might be doing that again. before the news.
