News out on $GROV - GroveWare Technologies $GROV Sees Growing Adoption of MobiTask by Property Maintenance and Real Estate Management Companies

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire -08/13/12)- GroveWare Technologies Ltd. (GROV) is continuing to diversify its customer base for MobiTask, its flagship solution designed to help transition business and government away from paper-based processes to the modern, wireless world. Recent successes in the mechanical contractor sector are now being mirrored by the Company's expansion into the property maintenance and real estate management arena.
Such businesses are installing MobiTask on their wireless devices, smartphones and tablets, and using this robust solution to schedule, monitor and record cleaning, maintenance and repair tasks, collect and record data re work completed, labor-time, materials costing and billing information. MobiTask has been successfully implemented by property maintenance and real estate management companies in select north-eastern states and the Company is looking to this industry as a potentially large and lucrative market for its software. These GroveWare customers are now reporting that, by providing them with accurate and "real-time" data sent through MobiTask by their employees and supervisors, they are better able to serve their own clients, and respond to service and maintenance issues, while enjoying higher levels of labor efficiency, lower administration costs and accelerated invoicing and receivable turnover.
"Every large, commercial, industrial and institutional building in the country has its cleaning and maintenance functions managed by an internal employee group or by an outside contractor", remarks Harry Achkarian, GroveWare's CEO. "The vast majority of these groups and contractors still use inefficient paper-processes to schedule, monitor and document maintenance tasks, labor utilization and materials used. Because of the cost savings and productivity gains available to MobiTask users, each of these groups and contractors are potential GroveWare customers. We intend to work aggressively with our wireless channel partners to expand deployment of MobiTask in this sector and to assist customers to exploit and the operational, administrative and cost efficiencies that MobiTask can make available to them."
"The U.S. Commerce Department statistics report that there are over 82,000 companies in the building maintenance sector employing well over 900,000 people. These businesses operate in an extremely competitive environment and each needs to find more effective ways to manage their labor and materials costs, but many do not have the capital budgets to invest in expensive and complex computer systems," says Achkarian." GroveWare brings to them, an affordable solution that can help them manage their overheads and provide a more reliable service to their customers, both prerequisites to growth and profitability in a very price competitive marketplace."
With a growing list of new customers in several U.S. cities, GroveWare sees the building maintenance industry as a huge opportunity for growth in sales of its MobiTask solution and a lucrative and sustainable arena for future revenues.
