This is a silly mischaracterization as if "offshore" has some kind of negative connotation. You could just as easily say "International". Any US mining company with operations and management outside of the US would be considered "offshore". And to that extent, Medinah is as offshore as Newmont, Freeport-McMoran and Southern Copper...and the thousands of Canadian TSX-based mining companies that have properties all over the world.
Medinah directors Greg Chapin and Larry Regis are both US citizens and Medinah Minerals USA is headquartered in Las Vegas, NV.
JJ Quijano is from Chile, coincidentally, that's where all of Medinah's properties are located. So I guess, JJ makes Medinah "offshore"...and international.
