SIAF - actually it's about whether or not investors go along with the company calling it one thing when it's actually the other. SIAF is indeed a diluted mess that would be trading at .10 if it weren't for the lemmings in Sweden .....

CC - I have no issue with them using shares for financing, but they could have used the dividend cash to pay the debts, right? I am not saying SIAF is a fraud, but the dividend was really not free and clear of the financing no matter how the dots on the balance sheet were connected. The reason a dividend is supposed to boost confidence is that it demonstrates cash flows independent from financing.

Baffles my mind each and everytime I hear someone state "they issued shares to pay out the divy".

How or Why invest if you don't understand capital markets is the other question that comes to my mind.
