You don't know the reason for the delay. In fact, I'm inclined to believe even Zerbe doesn't know exactly why Edgemont is delaying (and IMO this is from the Edgemont side). One thing I'm pretty sure of is this isn't manufacturing related. Cause if it were they would have to tell the FDA, and that would have to be made public.

But whatever the reason, it doesn't abdicate IGXT from the responsibility of issuing a statement. And that is my main point here.

I would still not be surprised to find out that Edgemont has gotten a delay / reduction in the launch milestone, and a few points off the royalty percentage. Not at all unheard of. They tell Zerbe that their pre-launch DD has shown the market for the product is not as strong as they initial thought, and would like to adjust payments. At least until actual sales proof it one way or the other. This kind of shit happens all the time. Frankly, if it had helped get 450 out the door earlier I would have been happy to see them give a little back.

IGXT has all their pipeline ducks in a row at this point. What they need now is cash flow.
