Just to keep things in perspective... when TASR was flyin high at over $100 per share then split, they had sold less than 40k units.... If the partnership can sell the 100k units.... well $4-5M revenue would be a grand start.... let alone doing 500k -- 1 million combined in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.... thought would be rather nice coinage!!!! :~)

Bruno also mentioned that a problem they have yet to solve is battery life. He said they are approaching 2 hours (Standby OR talk time, no difference) in WiFi mode. He said this is a problem that every phone manufacturer is having. He thinks it needs to be closer to 4 hours. I also heard him tell someone else that they need the price of the c1250i to be less than 400 Euros.

``We expect contracts for the delivery of our products (such as Calypso real time two way video conferencing cellular phones, WLAN Access Points and related hardware) and licensing of our ASNAP(tm) technology, upon the successful completion of the field trial. Calypso' scheduled to conduct demonstrations of the company's C1250i Wi-Fi cellular phone in Italy by the third week of June. The delivery of phones is anticipated to begin during the fourth quarter of 2005,'' says Alfredo Sarrazin, Vice President of Sales of Calypso Wireless Inc.

``Mobile users will be able to make two-way, real-time video conferencing and VoIP calls over the WLAN or switch over to the Mobile network when outside of a hotspot. Since the C1250i's browser can be used both inside and outside the WLAN, users always have access to the Internet. Instant messaging between C1250i handsets on a wireless LAN is also possible. The handset's battery lasts about 4 hours for VoIP calls.
