Chaoda among China's 500 Most Valuable Brands
June 28 - Chaoda rose to number 81 out of China's 500 Most Valuable Brands in 2012, based on an annual ranking by World Brand Lab, a New York-based consultancy, with an estimated brand value of RMB 16.94 billion.

In 2010 Chaoda was number 83 on the list and in 2011 it was number 82.

This was the ninth edition of World Brand Lab's China rankings. The rankings are based on a combination of financial analysis, consumer behavior, and brand strength. World Brand Labs, an independent consultancy, published its first ranking of Chinese brands in 2004.
