It would be brilliant.

10 Single Family Homes at $100,000k = $1M Assets at face value.

If they produce 10% Cap Rates that's
$10,000 per month in revenue.

Then consider the assets being purchased at these market lows could be worth significantly more each year as the market recovers. Let's be conservative and say 5-10% per year appreciation.

I'm just speculating but if I'm a holding company with a finance division, I want to diversify my holdings right now with all time low hard assets in a market desperately needing rentals due to foreclosure.

If I was running this board, I'd hire a Real Estate guy as well. Just saying.
