If it crosses the concept of using a word, name, phrase bar code, RFID tag, or anything that is an 'anchor' that then directs to a URL or a specific site on a web site, it is infringing on NeoMedia's patents. The patents are not limited to mobile. However, the problem with CueCat and what Neom realized back in 2000 was that no one wants to sit at thier computer and connect or navigate, it is easy to search. No one wants to search on the mobile phone. And what makes PC so appealing is that you can use it on the go.
