Some yes, but medicare cost's me 350.00 per month with Part B, and D, Supplement ect. and that don't even count the deductibles. Bottom line is you still pay, forever.
Got mine a few months ago. Wasn't going to sign up yet, but then I saw the caveat about the 10% penalty EVERY month FOREVER if you don't join within a certain timeframe. Still haven't added any coverage to it, but I figure it's good enough to get me through the door if I keel over somewhere. Haven't had health insurance for about 25 years and haven't needed it. Used to drink. Still smoke. Gave up the hard drugs years ago. Go figure.
