Volgoat and entdoc, I recall that there was exchange on the technical behind murine vs. humanized Bavi a few years ago. One of the call outs was that the murine Bavi would be expected to be purged from the system faster/more completely than the humanized Bavi. That would be due to how the body would be quicker in purging or rejecting that which is perceived by the body as murine MABs. Safety benefits for quicker purging and efficacy benefits from lingering presence of Bavi were discussed as trade offs. I recall that the murine Bavi was considered to carry advantages over humanized Bavi for such reasons, but that humanized Bavi might carry advantages for its extended duration for being able to "tag" exposed (inside-out) PS for the body's own immune system to recognize.

A very pragmatic response is that murine Bavi is showing efficacy that outperforms SOC, so if humanized Bavi shows it carries additional benefits down the way through future trials, all the better. The Bavi MOA is a platform.
