"government is not going to help protect you either."

There are more than enough warnings out there provided by government.....greedy investors chose to ignore them. Because we live in a relatively free country, the stock crooks take advantage of those freedoms by pretending to run a real company. In a free society, the enforcers of white collar crime have to move slowly and it is really tough to prove crap like HMGP actually broke any laws......plus if you already told the victims not to drink the water unless it's boiled, should government really spend all their time and budgets pretecting the stupid???
