Yep. Of course one real series killer is when the heroine gets pregnant. In real life. Then they have to write the story line around the pregnancy. That did in In Plain Sight, which began as an excellent show.
Not to mention Bones. It was always kind of silly, but now it's about nothing but babies. Ugh.
