Imo it's simply consolidation/accumulation, and that gap that wasn't fully closed. The chart is showing a full bodied candle at the gap now, which, imo means it's officially, totally closed. We could see a volume surge, and a big break out soon. Peeps that are trading the channel see these things, and wait for the right time to jump back in. It's almost time, imo.....
