#1184 RE: gitreal #1182

I did get your note, and while I can't PM, your assumptions are 100% correct.:) I have enjoyed reading the posts from you and 1manband. Your insight and knowledge is helping people! It will be interesting to see what happens with GDSM.

I have seen fluff PRs tank a penny miner before, specifically PCFG last summer. While it was actually in production, it was having major problems and tried to hide this with fluffy PRs. People saw right through it and the stock tanked, falling from a high of 8 cents to a low of sub-penny. While I made a lot of money on the run-up, many "longs" stayed in for the slide back down and lost hundreds of thousands in unrealized gains as many had been in at very low prices. It was very sad. It was my first miner and I stayed safe simply because I took my gains, not because I'm an expert or anything.

There was major fights on the board about the fluff PRs, what they meant, etc. I took a lot of shots because I thought they were lacking substance and slippery in their wording. They even promised a share buyback when clearly there was no money to do this. Some thought that meant production was doing better than they announced because if they can buyback shares, where is the money coming from, right? They must be doing good! Well, they said they wanted to buyback shares, not that they could or would be doing that right away. Slippery, slippery. I think management thought that was how the game was played and they learned quickly that fluff PRs can get them burned.

Of course, they were in actual production, where people wanted hard production numbers, not the stage where GDSM is now. It will probably be easier for GDSM to BS through more fluff PRs.

PCFG is making small gains and looks like their production problems may be turning a corner. I am not currently in it. Hope the longs over there finally get their day.

Keep up the great work, people are listening!
